Bed was comfortable. I liked the free 6 hours internet access, really needed that.
There was no receptionist at all apart from when I checked in, and there was no way I could request for anything. Rooms were really close to each other, I could hear my neighbours quite plainly.

there was no directions forwarded and the hotel has an address that has 12 differant locations in venice, therfore we spent 3 hours trying to find it. there were no amenities in the hotel apart from your basic room. There was no staff outside some basic hours in the hotel to assist any inquirary. the hotel was advertised as a 3 star hotel and had the standards slightly higher than a bacpackers

Best thing was the location, very near to ferrovial and good bakery shop next to the hotel. The staff was very good and pleasing. Ofcourse the 24hrs coffee near the reception is an addup...

I had a room to myself with air conditioning. The room was clean. For a low budget hotel it was comfortable, although I had to share the bathroom. It had more of a hostel feel to it.
For a hostel/budget hotel, I thought it was too expensive. It's a little ways away from all the sites, too. But it's not too far. It was a 10-15 min. Walk to Rialto Bridge.

Good location, close to the bus and train stations. You don't have to walk to much to get there. However, since no address is easy to find in Venice, you have to ask a lot to locals. You don't have to leave the key at the reception when you leave. A fridge inside the room is included, as well as a good pair of slippers which are better than common detachable hotel slippers. You'll have to walk a lot, so the lighter you go in Venice, the better.
It's in general overpriced for what it provides, although I think I could have had a better price if I had reserved it with more anticipation. The room was too hot because the heater is always on and can't be deactivated, according to the hotel's staff. I was there in spring and I had to leave the window open for several hours to sleep comfortably. The floor was not even so of closet and fridge tended to slide. There's no 24hr stuff at the reception, but you always keep your key with you.

The hotel was just off the main route to the Grand Canal from the bus station and in a good position to visit many parts of Venice. Next door is a patisserie which sold bread, cakes, milk, juice, soft drinks and savouries so was very handy. The proprietor and his pleasant lady assistant were very helpful and accomodating. We bought a three day ticket on the vaporetta, which was excellent value and enabled us to see much of the city and the other islands. Very easy to use and frequent. The main tourist areas were busy and would be pretty unbearable in high season. Must vist the Doge's Palace.
The room needed much brighter lighting, and the TV did not have any English speaking channels so it wasn't used. Our room was quite warm, but opening the windows allowed the mosquitos in which were a real nuisance at night. Also we overlooked the patisserie, who started work at 2 a.m. so a bit noisy at times. Breakfast was not offered, but not really required as many places to eat in the vicinity.

Excellent location, 10 min walk from the main train station, however a bit trickt to find the first time, we asked for help to a local lady a few blocks from the hotel, she had to call them with her cellphone to help us locate the hotel. Once located, it was easy the next times. A coffee machine in the reception 24 hours available is a plus.
For free WiFi internet, you need to get a password good for 6 hours each time. The shower box is so tinny, even for European standards.

The whole experience was very lovely, nothing to complain about, would definitely recommend. Good small and quaint hotel, outstandingly accommodating staff, loved the stunning location just next door to those bridges with so many steps and railway station...
